Ben Wisbey - FitSense Australia

Ben Wisbey - Managing Director / Exercise Physiologist

Ben has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Biology) majoring in Sports Science. He provides specialised sports science services to many professional teams and athletes, including the AFL. These services include heart rate variability, GPS and training load services.
Ben also has extensive experience in managing workplace conditioning programs and currently manages some of FitSense's key corporate programs such as the Functional Fitness Assessment Program throughout the Australian Customs Service and Customs' specific training.

Ben is an accredited member of the Australian Association for Exercise and Sports Science (AAESS), and is a board member of both AAESS (ACT) and Sports Medicine Australia (ACT).
Elizabeth Bennett

Elizabeth Bennett - Office Manager & Program Support

Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Masters Degree in Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning). She has over 15 years experience in the health and fitness industry, managing and implementing a large range of corporate health and fitness programs.

Elizabeth is also an experienced writer and professional editor, specialising in the subject areas of health and fitness. She has written and edited for the Australian Health Promotion Journal, Healthpact, The Canberra Times, the Australian Sports Commission and the National Heart Foundation.

Elizabeth manages the day to day administration of many FitSense Australia programs and conducts both health and fitness assessments and corporate wellness seminars. She is also responsible for the preparation of a wide range of written material including client resources, reports and corporate publications.

Elizabeth was the President of Fitness ACT for 2 years and is still an active committee member. She is also a member of the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) and the Australian Track and Field Coaches Association (ATFCA).
Adam Westphal

Adam Westphal

Adam has a Bachelor of Sports Science (Coaching) and a Graduate Certificate in Human Movement Science. Adam is an Exercise Physiologist and an accredited Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Before joining the FitSense team, Adam gained 4 years experience working at the ACT Academy of Sport as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Adam's background working with elite athletes allows him to approach all health and fitness issues in a scientific manner. Adam's coaching experience also allows him to help groups of people make positive health related changes.

Adam is also an AAESS accredited exercise physiologist and is responsible for the delivery of a range of exercise physiology services at FitSense, as well as program development and best practice.
Tania Churchill - FitSense Australia

Tania Churchill - IT Coordinator

Tania has a Bachelor of Management and a Masters of Information Technology. At the beginning of 2007 Tania partnered with the Australian Institute of Sport, the University of Canberra, and FitSense on a PhD research project aimed at developing new athletic performance modelling techniques.

Tania currently develops in-house data analysis software as well as customised sporting applications. She has developed, implemented and assisted in delivering a wide range of IT projects including FitSense' online management systems (i.e., training logs, injury management systems) and customised PocketPC (handheld) applications.


 

Kate Fuller - Exercise Physiologist

Kate is an AAESS Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over 10 years experience in the corporate health and fitness industry. Kate currently works in the area of Quality Control at the Australian Institute of Sport. At FitSense Australia, Kate is responsible for ensuring testing procedures meet current best practice standards.
