AFL GPS Research Report 2005 In 2005, the AFL research board assigned FitSense Australia to undertake initial research into using GPS during games to monitor and assess player demands. AFL GPS Research Report 2006
Due to the success of the 2005 report, the AFL research board once again assigned FitSense Australia to further investigate the demands of an AFL player based on GPS captured data. This report dealt wisth a much greater volume of data than the 2005 report, and also looked at the changes in the player demands between seasons, and therefore the potential effect that rules changes had on the game.
